Once Sold Tales

Hey, you. Yes, you. I just want you to know how much God loves you. No matter what. One year over, a new one approaches, and yet, there's something that never changes.

We mark out the years by our dance around the sun, but there will come a time when we no longer mark out the passage of time, for we are timeless beings, designed and purposed for eternity from our beginnings on....

I can think of no higher calling than to hold up a mirror of Truth to you and show you how VERY MUCH you mean to God. How much He really, really, really loves you.

If there's one thing I'm realizing more throughout 2013, it's that NOTHING is impossible with God, for He *specializes* in what is impossible for us created beings. He has built into us that God-shaped hole and desire for eternity, and graciously made us into his image so that we can have fellowship with Him. And if that wasn't enough, He breaks all the rules and enters time as a human being, just for you, so He could show you how much He loves you in person. Jesus came down to our level so that we could look God in the eye and see what He was willing to do to save us from ourselves. Nothing can nullify that. No bit of love was withheld. To think that anything in created reality could overcome that is...laughable.

Don't listen to the lies the world throws out at you. The broken universe is singing a redemption song about His gracious and boundless love for you. My hope for you this year is that you can hear the refrains of that song. Let the Truth set you free.
