About the Design Innovation Hub:

The Design Innovation (DI) Hub operates as an open-access collaborative maker and innovation accelerator environment. The DI Hub is part of a larger Design Innovation Initiative at Kent State to activate a community of inquisitive people and facilitate cross-disciplinary communication and problem-solving capacities. In addition to a collaborative environment, the DI Hub hosts prototyping and production tools that complement other academic DI Nodes across the university.

Ray Yang, a senior applied engineering major and a student supervisor at Spark Innovation Studio, is a fantastic blend of artist and masterful tinkerer whose leadership in the makerspace has earned him the respect of his peers and experts in the field.
