The SmallRig RF 10C Portable Focusable LED Video Light has honestly been a great addition to my kit. For such a compact light, it packs in a ton of creative options. You get three built-in colors — red, orange (I accidentally said yellow in the video 😂), and blue — which makes it super useful for adding atmosphere and practical lighting effects on set. With a fix 5600k you know exactly what light you’re getting.
For only around $49, it also comes with a bunch of gobos so you can create different patterns and textures in your shots, which is wild for the price point. And the fact that it’s rechargeable by USB-C makes it easy to throw in your bag and use anywhere without worrying about batteries.

We had a blast at !
This is , and and I did an impromptu photo walk outside of the event an amazing event. If you weren’t there, you should’ve been! This was just day one.

So, during our photo walk with Eli, later that night, I finally got to photograph for the first time—someone I’d been wanting to shoot for a while.
Since it was really dark outside, I used the Westcott FJ800 LED light set to 4500K. Camera left, behind, I placed an FJ400 II set to 2700K to add warmth. Above, there was another FJ400 II also at 2700K.
I edited two versions: one with a subtle flare and another clean.
