LONG POST ALERT
This past weekend at was truly one for the books! You all SHOWED UP in the most incredible way, and I can’t thank you enough for helping me clear out so much inventory. It was an amazing turnout at one of my favorite venues, but also a bittersweet one, as it will likely be one of my last events as a vendor.
For those who may not know, I’ve been quietly working on a major shift in my business model over the past year. These changes mean I will no longer be participating in markets or events, and while I may revisit handmade items in the future, I will no longer carry wholesale inventory (which means I will be closing my Painted Tree shops).
This decision didn’t come lightly. After some tough conversations with myself, I realized that the sacrifices I was making as a mom weren’t worth anything I could gain in business. About six months ago, I started pivoting, creating new ventures, and reimagining the future of this business. I’m so excited to share what’s next when the time is right, but for now, I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude. 🫶🏻
Thank you for supporting me over the past five years, for shopping small, and for helping me close this chapter on such a high note. 💖
I have one more event this weekend in Waxahachie, and after that, I’ll begin selling all remaining inventory at 50% off! To make this easy, I’ve created a private Facebook group for those of you looking for crazy good deals on all the things I have on hand. If you’d like to join, shoot me a message, and I’ll send you the link! Inventory “purging” begins next week. 🤗
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey—I couldn’t have done it without you! 💕

Lots of staff meetings happening around here lately! 🤪 Behind the scenes, there’s been a lot of soul-searching about the direction I want to take this little shop of mine. The plans for 2025 look quite different from the past five years— some bittersweet, but every change is aimed at helping me show up in the right places with more intention + purpose than ever before.
One of the hardest decisions I’m trying to wrap my head around, is saying goodbye to my Market Era. Farmer’s Markets have been such an integral part of my small business journey—it’s hard to imagine not seeing my favorite vendor friends and sweet customers every week. But as I take this step forward, I’m focusing on finding new ways to connect with you all while still delivering your favorite treats right to your doorstep (or straight into your hands!). 😉
Thank you for your support through every season of this journey—it means the world to me. Here’s to embracing change and new chapters!
