Carmine Carrot
Picked some carrots today.
As a boy he was forced by his parents to take a job
as a swabbie on an import sailing vessel.
At age 21 he operated his own vessel importing ginger.
Never marrying he had a reputation as quite the dandy
with the ladies. In his elder years his eyesight remained that
of a much younger man. It was said he could shoot a mosquito
300 feet away on the darkest of nights.
