The foundation isn't what makes your skin look good. It's everything that happens before it.

Every bride gets a different prep depending on what her skin actually needs that morning. Combo/oily areas gets controlled first, and still adding hydration on top and drier skin gets a heavier moisturizer pressed in like a mask while I work on her eyes (so by the time I get to foundation it is fully absorbed).

When someone says that, I usually can tell that they've had their makeup done before and they weren't listened to and got a result they did not ask for.

So we kept it light, skin focused and not overdone. She looked in the mirror (a little surprised) and loved it 💕
