Welcome to the first of our Director Spotlights, where we’ll introduce our lead organizers and what they do. First, our Founder and Executive Director:

Daniel Wei is a junior at Seven Lakes High School, in the class of 2021. He first began coding in 6th grade, when he got his first laptop and almost immediately installed Ubuntu Linux on it. Since then, he’s become a passionate advocate of open source and free software, as well as, hopefully, a decent programmer. As the primary organizer of TeenHacksHTX, he hopes to be able to inspire the next generation of talented young coders.
