Ketamine infusion therapy is gaining greater acceptance for patients with chronic pain like complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). As it has few side effects, it is being viewed as a safer and much less invasive alternative to the implantation of a Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS). The concerns over SCS implants are due to numerous studies have shown little to no efficacy and severe correlated isssues with the implants. In continued growing concerns over the rampant adoption of the use of semaglutides and associated drugs prescribed frequently for the 'off label' use of weight loss/management, the FDA's FAERS database now links more than 100 deaths of patients to the drugs since 2018. Concerns continue to grow with the memories of Fen Phen in the not so distant rearview:
