Today we would like you to meet our longest stay Petco Cat Habitat cats! These sweet faces have been patiently waiting for their perfect families, and we think it's finally their turn. 💙

🐾 Louvre
Six month old Louvre has been waiting at our 75th Street Petco since June 27. This sweet girl would love to be the princess of the house and prefers to be your one and only cat. She loves attention, can't resist a wand toy, and her tiny shaved patch will grow back before you know it!

🐾 Buffy
Buffy is six years young and has been charming everyone at our Lamar & 135th Street Petco since June 16. She's incredibly sweet, doesn't seem bothered by dogs, and has the cutest little tongue that peeks out when she's happy. We think she's more than ready to trade her cat habitat for a couch of her own.

🐾 Rocco
At just over a year old, Rocco has been waiting at our Lamar & 135th Street Petco since June 25. He's the perfect mix of playful and laid back, loves exploring on a harness, and may look a little scruffy at first glance, but he's as soft and sweet as they come.

🐾 Jammin' Janet
Jammin' Janet is almost seven years old and is large and in charge in the very best way. She loves being brushed, happily accepts treats, and still gets excited for wand toys. She'd prefer to be your only pet, but has done wonderfully with older kids who respect her boundaries.

UPDATE: Thank you so much! Because of your generosity, we now have over 300 boxes of wet kitten food on the way. This is enough to last us about a month. We so appreciate all the support and will continue to accept donations of kitten food and other highly needed items on our wishlist. You are amazing!!

🚨 Our kittens need your help, Kansas City! 🐱💙

Right now, we're urgently asking for donations of Iams wet kitten food. We are down to our last pallet and expect to be out within the week.

Many of the kittens arriving at KC Pet Project are only days or weeks old, underweight, sick or recovering from difficult situations. Keeping them on the same food is incredibly important because sudden diet changes can upset their sensitive stomachs and make an already fragile kitten even sicker.

These are just a few of the 74 kittens that have come through our doors in the first 6 days of July. As kitten season continues, we'll only need more food to keep these little ones healthy and growing.

We've updated our Amazon Wishlist so Iams wet kitten food is the very first item. You can have it shipped directly to KC Pet Project, or drop it off at our Main Campus in Swope Park at 7077 Elmwood Ave., KCMO.
