als of any kind. I rely on companion planting, crop rotation and using flowers and herbs to encourage good insects and deter/confuse the bad guys! My growing philosophy is centered around biodiversity, as nature was designed. When there is diversity in the environment, the system is much healthier. the soil is is more healthy and retains nutrients for all the things that grow. Update**: As of April 1st, 2021, I shut the FishCandy Farmstead down. The address is not in affect anymore. I have retired from this form of growing, and relocated to Costa Rica. I will keep this page up as I feel it will be of benefit to others. I will post occasionally, information and philosophy that supports this way of growing and living.
