Sundays are always a reminder of why we do what we do.

Today our team went to the park to serve meals to our homeless neighbors. We had a great turnout, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who showed up to serve with compassion and kindness. It takes a committed team to make a difference, and I’m thankful to be surrounded by people who have a heart for helping others.

After serving at the park, we headed to our NA meeting at Resurrection Brookside. It was a powerful meeting, and the topic of spirituality and recovery was a great reminder that healing is about more than just staying sober—it’s about finding hope, purpose, and strength through something greater than ourselves.

Feeling truly blessed to spend another Sunday serving the community, growing in recovery, and walking this journey alongside such an amazing team. One day at a time, we continue to be the change and make a difference in the lives of others. ❤️
Amen!

Today we had the privilege of attending the Douglas County Drug Court graduation to celebrate Arthur Elmer as he became the program’s 43rd graduate. What an incredible milestone!

Arthur also completed our program, and it has been such a blessing to watch his transformation. Seeing him continue to succeed is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible when people are given hope, support, and the opportunity to make positive changes.

Moments like today are why we do what we do. There is nothing more rewarding than watching lives be restored and seeing people overcome addiction to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Congratulations, Arthur! We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what God has in store for your future. Keep inspiring others with your story!

Today was another reminder that serving others is always worth the journey. We drove over 150 miles, traveling to different cities to meet people where they are and help those in our community. Every mile represents an opportunity to encourage someone, offer hope, and remind them that they are not alone.

We also had a team meeting to talk about the progress everyone is making. It’s inspiring to see the growth, dedication, and heart of each person on our team. Watching lives change and seeing people continue to move forward is what makes this work so meaningful.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this mission and thankful for the amazing team God has surrounded me with. Together, we’re proving that when people come together with a shared purpose, real change can happen. Thank you to everyone who continues to support Artist Helping the Homeless. We couldn’t do this without you.
