Red Car Chronological Post #10
Aug 2020 ~ Oct 2021
For about the next year I went on to just enjoy the car. Made an effort to drive it to work as much as possible and do simple life things like groceries and what not. The feeling and emotional connection to these cars was wholesome to experience when I needed it. So many years in my teens and 20’s were spent in them, their smell is forever a core memory.
Anyways just some pics from that year before sharing the next tech chapters it went through...

~July 2020~
After refreshing a ton of stuff I was finally getting close to driving it! What’s not pictured here is me tediously doing an alignment on the car and setting all the coilovers. Had to set it decently high to clear the horrible hump at the entrance of the driveway.
For alignment I used a medium cost toe plate set found on Amazon. I had toe plate setups in the past but had to start fresh. Have used these for years now and they’ve been great!

After finishing the doors it was finally time to do some easier work with buttoning up the front and rear suspension.
