Ruby Sweets

The time is officially here for me to close up shop and take a step away from baking.

I really just want to take a minute to thank everybody who’s been a part of this journey with me. I decided to start Ruby Sweets in 2020 with the hopes of just selling some cheesecakes and cake pops.

Never did I anticipate making cakes. I remember my first cake order. I was so nervous because I’ve never decorated cakes professionally before. I definitely have had a lot of growth in that five years and am so happy for the progress I’ve had. The journey wasn’t always easy working full-time, but my husband and family were very supportive of me doing this on the side with what little free time I did have (and let me tell you, it wasn’t much).

I’m so happy to have been able to be a part of a lot of special occasions for a lot of you and create some great memories with my orders. I may not be gone forever, but I do anticipate me taking a much-needed break for at least a year. Ultimately, I may decide to step away permanently.

Thank you to everybody who trusted me with their special occasions, it meant more to me than you know considering there are so many talented bakers and decorators in the area.

It’s Graduation season ❤️

Hi everyone ❤️ so I have decided to start taking orders again starting now. I will have some pricing changes so I may not be in everyone’s budget, I tried to keep my pricing consistent since I started but it’s just not feasible any more with the cost of some of my ingredients.

I do have some weekends booked up already. The following weekends are full: May 24, June 21st, July 5th, July 19th.

I think floral cakes will forever be my favorite ❤️ while I am still not taking on orders I’ve had some orders already in the works.
