Today‘s port of call was Hiroshima. As we have already seen the sights downtown on a previous visit (Peace Park and Museum are a must) - we decided to take an excursion to Miyajima Island.

One of the great things about Japan is the menu for most restaurants is a full display of the food in the window! Never have to guess what you are ordering!

People think Japan is expensive but the exchange rate right now is super favorable at around ¥150 to US $1. Full set meal of Tankatsu chicken for ¥950 or just US$ 6.34!

Windstar Star Breeze
A beautiful ship (formerly one of the yachts of Seabourn) with only 300 or so passengers (about 240 on our cruise). We have an ocean view cabin and it’s huge!
