Such great news!!
Survey flags are a welcome sight along Highway 2! MDT’s surveying crews are mapping out phase I of the Evergreen Sidewalk Project (Tractor Supply to the Fire Hall). Construction will start in the next week or two if favorable weather conditions remain. Thank you Representative Tony Brockman for the pictures and comments!

Transportation bill includes $1M for Evergreen sidewalks Evergreen is slated to receive $1 million from the state to fund the construction of sidewalks along U.S. 2, an effort spearheaded by Rep. Tony Brockman, R-Kalispell.

Thank you Heidi Desch for a very well written article! We have been working very hard for the last few months to get this grant application completed. Thank you to the County Commissioners for approving the administration of the RSID/RMD if we are successful.
Evergreen sidewalk project looks to next phase The goal is to construct a half-mile of sidewalk north of Evergreen Junior High School.
