A high schooler’s senior year becomes a fleeting moment in hindsight. Capturing someone’s character during that part of their journey is bittersweet as I reflect on my own memories and realize each of us has this commonplace experience when we are about to transition into new territory and continue —becoming—.

I get to sympathize with a teary eyed mom behind the scenes full of gratitude, love and memories knowing I will be in her shoes one day too soon when my own babies are in front of my camera getting ready to leap into the unknown adventures their lives have in store for them.

Life truly is a journey!
