2025 brought some high highs and the lowest of lows. I felt joy in doing things I never imagined I could possibly do, in shattering patterns and becoming a kinder, more accepting human being of both myself and others. I showed myself what I was made of and got so far out of my comfort zone that I questioned if I really deserved it or belonged there. 2025 also brought the deepest heartbreak and grief I never could’ve imagined. I lost the one true earthly attachment I had — my dog — and it completely changed my schema. It’s bittersweet to be both proud and pained — simultaneous joy and sorrow — but, although my faith has been tested to its limits, I’m pushing on and choosing to believe I’m exactly where I need to be, exactly when I need to be there, all according to a plan that’s bigger than those I have for myself. May 2026 bring an unrelenting peace 2025 could never provide. May your hard work pay off. May we all see through a lens of curiosity rather than judgement — especially in today’s climate. For myself and for all of you, I hope you win those battles nobody else knows about but you. Happy new year, everyone. ❤️
