I never know what a slab will reveal once its polished up. This Western hemlock burl coffee table revealed Edvard Munch's "The Scream!" How cool is that?

The last of the dead standing yellow cedar round tables found a home in this stylish apartment. This tree was 800-900 years old and was cut down a full century after it died of natural causes (or its death was an early indication of climate change😡). Custom metal work by Juneau-based makes this piece the locavores version of a table.
