How well was the opponent controlled? How well did you Control your stress, your breathing, your mind? How well did you control the gaps? When my brothers and I started dabbling in Jiu-Jitsu back in the 90’s, every team logo had some variation of a triangle logo. These logos were all inspired from the Original Gracie Academy Logo. The Triangle was described by Carlos and Helio Gracie as being a symbol of having a firm foundation, or physically having a strong base. The CTRL under the triangle represents our ethos that ‘Control is the essence of the art of Jiu-Jitsu.” This was our inspiration behind our latest logo design. With all the noise on Jiu-Jitsu gis these days (we are guilty of making some ourselves) this gi represents a return to a clean, traditional aesthetic. The OG - Coming This Week!
