This was taken from N Douglas looking across the Gastineau Channel towards the Mendenhall Valley, Auke Bay, Mendenhall Peninsula, and glacier. The colors in the rainbow were very vivid. It was so close to us, I couldn’t get all of it in the frame. October 2015

Mendenhall Glacier (December 2016). The lighting was really pretty that day, plus it was constantly changing every few minutes.
