It's been a minute, but we are still out here raising dairy goats and trying to will the winter away so we can get back to foraging season! In other news, our mother does and doelings are all finally coexisting in the same pen, and it's been very entertaining to watch the new herd dynamic unfold. New alliances have emerged, as have new hierarchies within the group. One thing is for sure: It's every goat for herself when food is on the line!

Building a small farm in our beautiful hometown of Juneau Alaska has been both one of the hardest things we have ever set out to do, and also one of the most rewarding.
Reflecting back on the circumstances that allowed us to reach this point sometimes feels like the planets aligned to make it happen.
