Long lasting from mid-summer into early autumn, the vaccinium genus provides us with a spectrum of prolific berries here in SE Alaska. From black thin-leafed huckleberries (vaccinium membranaceum) with their slightly musky flavor, to juicy tart red huckleberries (vaccinium parvifolium), and the flavor-packed crowd favorite the Alaskan blueberry (vaccinium alaskaense) these tiny berries are worth the time it takes to fill a bucket with them.

Hello and welcome! Thanks for supporting this Alaskan artist. Watch my page for updates about my newest creations, projects, and product availability. If my posting activity slows down, I'm probably out exploring in the meadows, muskegs, and mountains of stunning Southeast Alaska where I draw inspiration for my art. When I'm not creating with gouache, watercolors, or ink, I'm often hiking, snowboarding, fly fishing, or foraging wild edibles with my family and/or dogs. I'm a life-long left-coaster and love all the PNW has to offer, but I was also born with the wanderlust and crave new landscapes to be inspired by as often as possible. It's a beautiful world, pay attention!
