One of the most common things I see in older houses is damaged heat and air ductwork. Sometimes it is hidden as in this case. The insulation was over the pipe but the pipes were separated and most of the air flow was getting into the attic. Just one reason you need my services if buying a home do you want to heat and cool your attic or the living portion of your house

Do you see the problem here. This is why you should have a home inspection before you buy.
(Hint) might need bracing somewhere. Roof was only sagged about
1 1/2 inches
