Hurricane Jailbreak hit Joliet this past Saturday. Thank you to all the teams that came out and made it a fun day.

Ok, everyone, here are the brackets and all the info for the weekend. I emailed it to someone on your team but here it is for everyone to have.

Hello all fans and participants!!!!

Welcome to the 6th annual Joliet Jailbreak 7's rugby tournament!

Here is the info and a TENTATIVE schedule for this year's event.

9am: Captains meeting.

10am: first game kickoff

Brackets are attached and are subject to change times are included.

Format is as follows:
Games every 20 min. on 4 fields, until championship
7min halves with 2min halftime
4 team round robin pools
scoring is:
win = 4 points
tie = 2 points
loss = 0 points
1st tiebreaker is total point differential
2nd tiebreaker is total points scored
3rd tiebreaker is coin flip

Approximately 5:30 championship games. 10 min halves. 2 min halftime.

Trophy presentation and awards immediately afterwards.

Free party for all attendees during and after the awards presentation.

PITCH ADDRESS IS 870 MISSION BLVD JOLIET

Hotels at the I 80 and Houbolt exit and the I 80 and Larkin exit are the closest to the Pitch and good to average quality.

T-shirts are $10 Tank tops are $15

Chow line deals are available. T-shirt, pizza slice and 5 beers are $15 Tank top slice and 5 beers $20

Tournament is on state property. We obtained a special license to have alcohol. NO outside alcohol is allowed on the property.
Police will be checking coolers and possibly vehicles in the parking lot.

Water will be provided throughout the fields at no cost.

Please bring tents. There is ne shade at the pitch.

Friday night event for anyone arriving early is Mardi Gras North, Chicago Street, downtown Joliet.

FAMOUS SLIP AND SLIDE WILL BE RETURNING! MEMORABLE SLIDES WILL BE FEATURED ON THE TOURNAMENT PAGE.
