Hello Friends , another spontaneous photo of this project. I like to let my pieces sit around for a few days so I can walk over and take a look . After awhile I begin to see new details I can add. This one is almost finished - a few more highlights and some shading and it’s good to go. So far watercolor background ,sakura pen, gel pens and colored pencil

Hello Friends, it’s not often that I post a progress photo but today I felt like sharing. Water color background and I’ve committed to some patterns with ink. I’ve penciled in a couple of new zentangle inspired patterns in pencil. My process is very intuitive- I don’t know how I’m going to start, where I’m going and where I will end up- sort of life - you best laid plans can go awry . I’ll lay down@some patterns and then set the piece down for a few days and walk over and take a look a couple of times a day. Suddenly something will fall into place. And so it goes .
