“I wrote this song as a gift for my wife. It’s a true story about two awkward kids in their late teens / early twenties trying to figure life out together. No grand gestures. Just clumsy dates, butterflies, dumb jokes, and learning how to grow up side by side.

Musically, it’s wrapped in bright, neon-era pop punk, which are the kind of songs we grew up on together. But at its heart, this is a love letter. One that started years ago and is still being written.” - Aaron
