EAT / ART Space

Established in response to the closures & loss of opportunities during the pandemic, EAT/ART space is run for artists, by an artist. Through virtual exhibitions with live artist talks + Q&A, EAT/ART space celebrates the small and hyper-local ways of art and food.

✨ EAT/ART @ Tipton Ashe is FEATURING 👉

FAITH BELT -a visual storyteller, seeking the communion of story, style, and humble material… inspired by stories that hold deep meaning like Biblical stories, medieval and Arthurian legends, ancient histories, myths, fairytales, and folk tales.

RUBY BERRY - started tinkering with souped film and emulsion manipulation just as a distraction from her usual style of photography… The more weird things she did to the film, the more she loved the wild and unpredictable results.

LAURA BOWMAN - creates textile art that is a study in tension; a visual expression of the internal chaos of anxiety that appears controlled and harmonious on the surface.

ANNA BUCHANAN - through drawing, seeks to make visible the often quiet negotiations of care, survival, and identity that shape women’s lives across generations.
..and these are just SOME of the fabulous artists who appear at Tipton-Ashe!

It started in a dining room in 2020. 🍽

Six years later, over 70 artists have shared their work with the world through EAT/ART space.

Now, a small contingent of the dining room scene leaps downtown to occupy the beautiful Tipton-Ashe Gallery for the summer—
