Christopher, words could never fully capture what it has meant to be your father. One of my greatest blessings was not only raising you, but getting the opportunity to spend so much of life beside you. Working together every day at East Coast Pool gave me something many fathers never get — countless ordinary moments that became some of my most treasured memories. The long days, the conversations, the laughs, and even the hard times are memories I will carry forever.

I watched you struggle through difficult seasons, make mistakes, learn lessons, and fight through challenges that life put in front of you. But what stands out the most is the man you became. I had the privilege of watching a young boy grow into an exceptional man — strong, passionate, hardworking, and full of heart. You never let hardship define you. Instead, you grew because of it.

One thing I always admired about you was the way you loved people. You cared deeply and loved with your whole heart. You had a way of making people feel seen and important, and you would give what you had to help someone else without thinking twice. That kind of heart cannot be taught — it was simply who you were.

I think about your love for animals and how it started when you were just a young boy. You always had a soft spot for anything that needed care, protection, or kindness. That compassion stayed with you your entire life and reflected the kind of person you became.

More than anything, I want you to know how proud I am — proud of the man you became, proud of your strength, proud of your heart, and proud to call you my son. Watching your journey was one of the greatest honors of my life. I would give anything for one more day beside you, but I thank God for every memory, every laugh, and every moment we shared.

I love you always, son. That love never ends.
