Yesterday Blake, along with many other agents and business owners, went to Atlanta on behalf of our clients and the industry as a whole. The goal was to try to help get Tort Reform passed. If held today, the vote would be close. We need this. YOU need this.

We encourage you to call or email your reps TODAY. It is vital that this bill pass in as strong a form as it can.

There is a lot of misinformation floating around. This legislation will NOT keep people that have been victims of human trafficking from going after their captors.
This legislation will NOT keep victims of negligence from being able to go after the negligent party.
This will help keep the payouts more realistic and relative to the actual losses. It will reduce the possibility of nuclear judgements.

You and I foot the bill when the rulings are tens to hundreds of millions of dollars.

Businesses will leave Georgia as they will feel unprotected. Insurance companies will leave Georgia. Rates will continue to soar without this legislation.

Can we promise lower rates if it passes? No.
But we can promise the rates WILL continue to climb without it.

The law isn't permanent. It can be reversed if it does not have the desired affect. Just give it a chance to work and see.
