ACCEPTED, PROCESSING & APPROVED ‼️📌
let’s break this down real quick 👇🏽

🟢 ACCEPTED = The IRS received your return 📥 and it passed the basic error check ✔️

That’s it.
It does NOT mean your refund is on the way 💸
It does NOT mean it’s been reviewed 👀

🟡 PROCESSING = Now they’re actually working it 🖥️

This is when transcripts start moving.
This is when codes start popping up.
This is when things start happening. 🔄

🔵 APPROVED = They finalized your refund 💰 and scheduled your deposit date 🗓️

Now you can start checking your account 👏🏽

If WMR says ACCEPTED but your transcript says “no return filed” 😳 that just means they haven’t started processing it yet.

They have it.
They just haven’t touched it.

Movement does NOT happen at acceptance 🚫
Movement happens at processing 🔄

✨ Tax Tip for Parents! ✨
A lot of people are saying you “can’t claim more than 3 kids” on your taxes — but that’s NOT true. You can claim ALL of your children that qualify, no matter how many you have. 🙌

Here’s where the confusion comes from:

👇 EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit)

You can claim all your kids, but the EITC amount maxes out at 3 qualifying children.
That means:
• If you have 1–3 qualifying kids, your EITC increases.
• If you have 4, 5, or more, you can still list them, but the credit doesn’t increase past 3.

👇 Child Tax Credit (CTC)

TOTALLY DIFFERENT credit.
For the Child Tax Credit, you can claim every qualifying child, and the credit applies per child, not capped at 3.

✔️ Bottom line:

You can claim all your kids on your taxes.
The “3 kids max” rumor is only about how the EITC amount is calculated — NOT about how many children you’re allowed to claim.
