Doing Life with Jesus~ Christine Caine

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me” (Revelation 3:20, NIV).

I think that sometimes it’s a struggle for us to remember that Jesus never meant to be a visitor in our hearts; He’s a resident. Sure, we might want our lives to be touched on Sunday mornings or at a weekly Bible study, but once we get back to the normalcy and rigors of daily life, we can disregard His presence. We can forget He doesn’t just want to visit us every so often at a church service. He wants to do life with us.

Jesus wants to strengthen you, renew you, and fill every area of your life with everything He is — goodness, love, blessings, power, and so much more! He’s knocking on the door of your heart, so respond to Him today and live in all that He has for you and wants to do in and through you!

Transparency is allowing someone to see what’s going on inside of you. Vulnerability is allowing someone to see inside and speak into your life. Too many people think they’re being vulnerable by opening up but are guarded and won’t let anyone reach inside and help heal those parts that have been wounded.
