Davis Farm
Gary's Grandfather(Cedric) purchased this farm in the 1940's. It has been farmed continuously by a member of the family since then, except for a few years in the 70"s. We are trying to raise our children amidst the pull of the world. Our world has been shattered by the loss of our 17 year old son on July 28, 2013. Then Gary's diagnosis of a rare cancer and slip into a severe Clinical depression.

This was taken on Father’s Day before Elijah met Jesus. We met Chelsea and my farmers cousin in NH.
The day is etched in my mind. We got sandwiches and ate them by the water. Elijah got upset and ended up leaving. Funny the things you remember. Overall it was a nice day trip.
My farmer loves to go for a drive. It’s always fun to just escape for a little bit.
We would go for a drive when we needed to go pick up parts for equipment repairs. Or sometimes my farmer wanted to look at someone’s barn or their milking parlor. It was always an adventure!

It just seemed like a chocolate chip cookie day! 🥛And of course a big glass of cold milk! Stop by the farm for your own refreshing glass!!
Laundry, bookwork, and vacuuming today. Clean sheets on the bed! About to jump in the shower.
I like it when I can accomplish things! Some days I feel like I can’t get out of my own way! But today was good.
Sleep well. Hand over all your troubles to God. Say them out loud and relinquish the hold you have. And if you do find yourself awake… pray. You never know who may need the encouragement.🤍
Wow. I do not pretend to understand how dairy works. But the Hood plant and now this? Does Vermont really want dairy farmers? Just curious.

Such a fun day! Left the house at 7 to get this delicious coffee! Did anyone make it there??
Stopped at Goodwill to unload some of the clutter from the house! So excited to be doing this!
Then treated myself to a pedicure with 2 of my daughters! Man is it appreciated. Then off to a drs appointment with one daughter, grabbed a quick sandwich then home to drop her off. One of the perks of living on the farm is having. So much family close by. Most of our kids are here on the farm.
And two of my farmers siblings also live here! So I was able to catch a short visit with a niece and all 4 of her kids! I love them! So fun!!
Back out to pick up groceries. Unloaded those and ran up the road to catch some sunshine ☀️and play with the boy. Finally dashed to the salon to take care of my eyebrows. Now I’m making tacos from the leftover roast from last night!
It was a good, but busy day. I struggle with being gone from the house for so long. I don’t feel productive. And I get a little anxious. It wasn’t that bad today. And I’m glad I said, ‘yes’ more than I typically do!!
There was hot coffee in my mug this morning and lots and lots of things to do today! The cooler weather made everything better.
My farmer helped me clear some areas that have been so cluttered!! Do you ever just need an extra hand accomplishing a task? I struggle to stay on task and he does a great job!
I still haven’t bought plants for my front porch. Should I just bag it for the year? Do you think it’s too late? 🌻
