On two-thirds of an acre in Village Center zoning, we raise 95% of the vegetables we consume and quite a lot of fruit, starch, and protein we need. Scary time! I never know if walking up the road to the next pasture with no fences to contain the sheep will go well or not. This particular time, things did not go well. Welley, the herding dog, did great at first, but the sheep did not cooperate! Instead of staying with me, close to the source of yummy treats I had for them, they surged ahead and had to be brought back by the dog. (Look, Mom! I can make them EXPLODE! Whee!) In the end, the sheep ended up in their new paddock, safe and sound, but it took some work. More of the same tomorrow. I have no idea how it'll go....
