What are you really worshiping? This week, Steve Bullard challenged us to examine the idols in our lives—not carved statues, but the careers, relationships, politics, and passions we've placed above God.

The human heart is an "idol factory," constantly producing things to worship. We know God, yet we turn to lesser things for fulfillment. The good news? When our idols disappoint us, they can lead us back to the One who never will. Romans 5:8 reminds us that while we were still chasing these lesser things, Christ died for us.

Paul found joy even in shipwrecks because his hope wasn't in this world. You can't suffer loss of things you're not holding onto. Christ is alive. Christ is enough. Let Him search your heart and identify what's taken His place.
