Foothills Forge

This filet knife turned out pretty great being the first one I’ve ever made… The line you see running down the blade is called a “hamon”, which higlights where the soft spine meets the hardened edge. This method gives the knife a nice flexible blade, and a durable edge.

Differentiallly heat treated W2 steel, desert ironwood handle and copper hardware.

Done!
