β¦οΈToday is all about my dad! β¦οΈπ
Happy Birthday to one of the hardest-working and most selfless people I know.
Thank you for dedicating so much of your time and energy to helping with all of my Quarter Midget racing stuff. Whether it's working on the cars, prepping, trying to figure out rocket science to make my faster, or always being there when we need you, none of it goes unnoticed.
Your love, support, and willingness to do whatever it takes mean more than words can say. I'm lucky to have you as my crewchief and handler.
I hope you have the best birthday Jeremy Millsaps βyou deserve it! I love you so much! πππ

This weekend we had the doubleheader at our home track.
With single-car qualifying, we just didn't have the speed we needed, dad is still struggling with setups.
γFeature 1γ
Sr Honda
P5-P6
We are still trying to find that balance at our home track.
Sr Animal
P4-P4
Luke really improved. He's showing every week that he's getting better and making some gains.
γFearure 2γ
Sr Honda
P4-P6
Luke made a mistake going into a turn causing him to spinout and had to go to the rear.
Sr Animal
P4 - P4
With all that said, weekends like this are part of racing. We still made gains, learned a lot, and came away with a much better understanding of where we need to improve. Now we have goals, a direction to focus on, and plenty of motivation to get back in the shop.
We'll keep working, keep learning, and come back stronger.
We always enjoy our track's Friday night dinners. Having everyone come together bringing a dish, and sitting down to eat with everyone is a new tradition that we love. Being able to enjoy who you spend the whole race weekend with before the chaos starts on Saturday is what's it's about.
Thanks to everyone who continues to support us.

NGQMA race recap π Points race 5
π§¨Sr Honda
Heat race: P3 > P2
This is second week in a row with a strong heat race.
Feature: P2 > P3
Starting the race Luke got down quick and was in 2nd for a bit. With time, we didn't have what was needed to keep it there. Luke did good and managed with the car set up that was on it. We didn't have the full speed we think the car is capable of but it's a work in progress.
π
Sr Animal
Heat race: P3 > P3
We are still trying to figure this car out and Luke's line. We were slow with the car, but will try adjustments for the next race.
Feature: P3 > P3
Luke's line was hindering his speed. We did make some gains from last week and put more seat time in, which is really is what's needed right now. The goal for the next week or two in this car is practice, practice, practice!
We had an amazing time at the track this weekend with our racetrack family. The whole track cookout that Jody of David Wheeler Racing put on was top notch π. The food was β¨οΈAMAZINGβ¨οΈ and hanging with everyone was the best part!
Give our sponsors a round of applause for their help and belief in Luke Millsaps Racing ππ
