Following a major disaster, first responders who provide fire and medical services will not be able to meet the demand for these services. Factors such as number of victims, communication failures and road blockages will prevent people from accessing emergency services they have come to expect at a moment's notice through 911. People will have to rely on each other for help in order to meet their

Important training coming up on Tuesday, March 5th at 7 p.m. at the fire station on CR 313. We will be learning the proper use of our newly acquired handheld radios. Communication is critically important in an emergency. Please try to join us. This will be a hands-on exercise.

Williamson County Office of Emergency Management took time to recognize groups helping out during the emergency distribution of water during last fall's heavy rains. Our training coordinator represented us in receiving the plaque awarded to the Jarrell CERT team. Others who worked at the event are also shown with the award.
