But at The Risen Project, we believe it’s important to realize that rest isn’t the OPPOSITE of building, rather it’s PART of a sustainable strategy.
Take Chick-fil-A for example; a restaurant that closes every Sunday in a country of 24/7 demand. In business terms, that’s one full day of lost revenue every single week.
And yet, they’re still ranked #3 in U.S. fast-food sales.
That’s not accidental. It’s a reminder that constant output isn’t the only path to success. Sabbath is a declaration: the work matters, but it’s not the “ultimate.”

At The Risen Project we believe the work we’re doing to help leaders grow, build, and lead well is more than just a service. It’s a calling – a responsibility to serve the Body of Christ so it can see it grow healthy and endure for the long haul.
That’s why you’ll hear us speaking mostly to Christians. Not because our work is exclusive – truthfully we’re open to walking with anyone who wants to grow, values integrity and is serious about building something meaningful.
But we also feel deeply passionate about faith permeating every area of life, including the work we do.
For us, discipleship, leadership, and communication aren’t separate – they’re interconnected. They form the foundation of a life and calling that’s fully integrated, not divided.
