We often get clients who ask what is better, App based or Controller based smart home systems. My answer is the typical analogy to clients 20 years ago having 6 or more remotes to control their AV system. Do they want 6 remotes, or 1 easy to use touchscreen? Now its how many apps do you want to have to open and close to control your home.
