When we think about cancer prevention, we often focus on genetics, lifestyle choices, and medical screenings. But our environment plays an important role too.
The air we breathe, the water we drink, the products we use, and the places where we live and work can all influence our long-term health.
Research has linked environmental exposures such as air pollution, ultraviolet radiation, to***co smoke, asbestos, radon, and certain industrial chemicals to increased cancer risk. While not all cancers can be prevented, reducing harmful exposures is one way we can help protect ourselves and future generations.
💚 A healthier planet supports healthier lives.
This World Environment Day, let's remember that protecting our environment isn't just about conserving nature—it's also about protecting human health.

Aspartame - Maybe NOT So Sweet. | CancerQuest Consuming aspartame, an artificial sweetener found in diet sodas and other food products, may be linked to an increased risk of cancer. The decision by the World Health Organization to list aspartame as a carcinogen has faced criticism from other researchers and from the US FDA.
