Lately, life has felt very full in both heartbreaking and beautiful ways.

After losing Zuko, our beloved rabbit, my husband and I made the decision to adopt a rescue pup named Yuna from the Jacksonville Humane Society. She’s been adjusting to her new home while we adjust to a completely new chapter ourselves. 🐾

At the same time, I’ve been rebuilding creatively — not just through writing and marketing, but through something unexpected: baking.

What started as holiday cookies and homemade gifts slowly turned into The Merry Bake Shop, and this past weekend, I sold out of my mini muffins at my latest market. That moment felt surreal.

Sometimes healing looks like creating.
Sometimes grief turns into reinvention.
Sometimes the things we create for comfort wind up connecting us to other people in ways we never expected.
