OneJax
Through education, community building and advocacy initiatives, OneJax works to overcome bias, bigotry, and racism.
Thank you to the Sikh Society of Northeast Florida for hosting, and to everyone who joined OneJax for our Interfaith Dialogue. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to come together in shared space—listening, learning, and building meaningful connections across faiths.
The conversation was both educational and inspiring, reminding us that when we engage with openness and respect, we strengthen not only our understanding of one another, but the fabric of our entire community. We are especially thankful to the clergy, faith leaders, and community voices who helped guide such a thoughtful and impactful dialogue.
Moments like these affirm the importance of creating spaces where all perspectives can be heard and valued. We look forward to continuing this work and invite you to stay connected for future interfaith gatherings with OneJax.

Eid al-Adha, or the “Feast of Sacrifice,” is a major Islamic holiday that commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son, Ismail (Ishmael), in obedience to God. While Ibrahim was about to carry out the sacrifice, God intervened, providing a ram instead. Eid al-Adha is celebrated by Muslims worldwide, marking the end of the Hajj pilgrimage and a time for prayer, reflection, and giving. In remembrance of the sacrifice and to help the poor and needy, they give their own sacrifice.
