electromagnetic Fields (EMF) refer to the physical fields produced by electrically charged objects. They consist of both electric fields and magnetic fields and can be found in various forms, such as natural and artificial sources. EMF is commonly associated with power lines, electrical appliances, wireless communication devices, and more.

EMF can be categorized into two types:
1. Static EMF: This refers to fields that do not change over time, such as the field created by a stationary charged object.
2. Alternating EMF: This refers to fields that change over time, like those produced by alternating current (AC) in electrical wiring.

EMF is measured in hertz (Hz), with low-frequency EMF typically ranging from 0 to 300 Hz, which includes power lines, and high-frequency EMF ranging from 300 Hz to 300 GHz, which includes radio frequencies and microwaves.

While EMF has various applications in technology and medicine, there are ongoing studies and discussions about its potential health effects on humans and the environment.
