This year I focused on serving my current clients, and only brought on board a very selected number of new businesses that came either recommended by other clients, their CPAs, or are part of my small group of friends.

With November approaching and as we wrap up the year, I am turning on my OPEN-For-New-Clients Sign! This time of the year is crucial! Having clear and organized books is essential for a smooth transition into tax season. I want to help a few more businesses achieve clarity and make informed decisions.

Just a couple of upcoming deadlines to track in your calendars!

Here are a few notes to help you navigate this season:

- You have one week to file those 1099-NEC.

- If you made an s-election (created and S-Corp) for 2023, you will need to produce a K1 for your personal taxes. Your CPA needs your business income and expenses to file your business tax return by March 15th.

- Don't wait until the deadline to file, especially if you know you owe taxes. You want to stay ahead of the game and know exactly how much you need to send with your return. Remember, the tax payment is due with the return! Filing an extension doesn't extend the due date for your payment.
