Last Sunday, May 31, we were privileged to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the ordination of Rev. Dr. David Erber. Pastor Erber and his wife Joyce have served their entire ministry as missionaries in Africa and only recently returned to live in the U.S., though they are continuing their service in the mission field and to LCMS World Mission from afar. They presented a beautiful wooden cross carved in Ghana as a thank you gift to Trinity for the congregation’s support over the years. Pictured with the Erbers is David’s mother Lois, who remains a faithful member at Trinity.
