Happy spring from SHR!
Snow usually lingers a while longer, but spring found us early here in Jackson Hole. The horses have come home from their winter pastures and the ranch is waking up again. We are glad to have you with us for the season ahead.
What is so great about August besides one of the best times of year to visit SHR?
PRIME DATES JUST OPENED!!!
Due to a cancellation, a few prime August dates are now available at the ranch.
•Beautiful weather with warm days and cool evenings
•Great time for overnight pack trips in the backcountry
•Excellent Fly Fishing right on the ranch
•Big starry skies
•Strong, healthy horses ready for the trails
•Perfect setting for large family gatherings

We are saddened to announce the passing of Sam Blount.
Sam Blount will be deeply missed across the ranch and by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. As the owner of Spotted Horse Ranch, Sam was a steady and positive presence who believed in looking on the bright side and living life to the fullest. He had a quick wit, an inquisitive mind, and a genuine appreciation for the land, the work, and the people around him. Sam’s humor, curiosity, and love of life left a lasting mark on the ranch and on everyone fortunate enough to share time with him. His spirit will remain part of Spotted Horse Ranch and the memories he created there.
