In D.C; he has been an air personality, and news anchor at Howard University’s 96.3 WHUR, and CBS’ All News 99.1 WNEW. He also filed a weekly report called the ‘Talk Around Town’, on NBC 4. Troy started his career in Indianapolis at Power 105 WTLC, as a board-op, and production director working for his dad. He took his first on-air job at Majic 108 in St. Troy is from Chicago, and attended Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. He has served as a two-term President of ABMW, the Baltimore chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), a Region II Director of NABJ, and is a member of the National Press Club. In his free time, Troy is an avid cyclist, who loves history, travel, and a great meal.
