ARE, Inc. Drop-In Centers

On June 26th, ARE, Inc. had the opportunity to participate in the annual Recovery Is... event hosted by Home of New Vision. This recurring event is dedicated to ending the stigma surrounding recovery while celebrating and supporting individuals on their recovery journeys. It recognizes that recovery takes many forms, including recovery from substance use disorder and other life challenges, and encourages the use of multiple pathways to achieve and maintain wellness.

This year's theme, "Change," highlighted the power of growth, resilience, and transformation in recovery.

We were honored that Caity McDermott was invited to serve as a panel speaker, where she courageously shared her personal recovery story and inspired attendees with her message of hope and perseverance.

Representing ARE, Inc. at the resource table were Frances and Damien, who connected with community members by sharing information about our services, answering questions, and distributing resources and ARE swag. Their efforts helped raise awareness of the peer support services we provide and strengthened our connections within the recovery community.

Thank you to everyone who represented ARE, Inc. and helped make this event a meaningful success. Together, we continue to promote hope, reduce stigma, and remind others that recovery is possible.
