Bone Marrow Transplant Update: Maximus

'We are home! We have to return in a week for 2 rounds of erythrocyte apheresis to remove sickled cells from the blood. He will then be admitted to the ward for conditioning (chemotherapy) to eradicate his bone marrow to prepare his body to receive his dad’s cells. The bone marrow transplant will take place on December 7th."
