Our team attended the 18th Annual Mississippi Addiction Conference this week where we had the opportunity to expand our knowledge, strengthen our approaches to treatment for our clients, and connect with our peers in the community.
Our own Dr. Trihoulis presented and provided us with emerging research on newly explored treatment modalities to ensure that we are continuing to maintain open-mindedness to different approaches in our field.
We are so thankful to everyone who had a hand in putting this conference together for another year and are feeling encouraged and reinvigorated to continue providing the best care and support possible for our clients and their families!

🍳 Wednesday Wellness: Benefits of Breakfast 🍳
Starting your day with breakfast does more than curb hunger. It helps support steady energy, improved concentration, balanced mood, and overall well-being. Regular morning nourishment can make a meaningful difference for both mental and physical health throughout your day.
Here are some breakfast ideas we have been loving:
🥑 Eggs with toast and avocado
🍓 Greek yogurt with granola and berries (or any fruit you like)
🍌 Oatmeal with nut butter and banana slices
🍞 Cottage cheese with fruit on a slice of whole grain toast
🥤 Smoothie (recipe in picture 😋)
Small habits add up. Breakfast is a great place to start 🩷

🌉 Wednesday Wellness: Healthy Boundaries 🌉
Boundaries aren’t walls. They’re bridges to healthier relationships.
They help us protect our energy, communicate our needs, and show up more authentically with ourselves and others.
Healthy boundaries can look like:
- Saying “no” without guilt
- Asking for what you need
- Taking space when something doesn’t feel right
- Letting go of responsibility for others’ emotions
If setting boundaries feels uncomfortable, you’re not alone. It’s a skill, and, like any skill, it can be learned and practiced with compassion.
💭 Gentle reflection:
Where in your life could a small boundary create a little more peace?
You deserve relationships that honor your well-being. 🤍

🎄 Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from the Bridge Team 🎄
As the year comes to a close, we want to pause and send a little extra warmth your way.
The holidays can hold many feelings, from comfort to sadness, gratitude, grief, hope, stress, joy, and everything in between. However this season shows up for you, it’s okay to meet it gently.
🧣 Wrap yourself in rest when you can.
🕯️ Create space for what feels nourishing.
❤️ And remember: you don’t have to do this season perfectly to be worthy of care.
We’re grateful to be part of your journey and are wishing you moments of peace, softness, and connection this holiday season. 🤍
❄️ Wednesday Wellness: Rest is Productive - Especially During the Holidays ❄️
In a season that often encourages doing more, it’s important to remember:
Rest is not a reward for finishing everything, it’s a requirement for well-being.
The holidays can place extra demands on our time, energy, and nervous systems. Choosing to rest isn’t laziness or avoidance. It’s an intentional act of self-care. ⛄️
Why rest matters:
* Supports nervous system regulation
* Improves focus, mood, and emotional resilience
* Helps prevent burnout and overwhelm
* Creates space for presence and connection
🕯️ Rest can look like slowing your pace, saying no to an extra commitment, stepping outside for fresh air, or allowing yourself a quiet moment, even in the middle of a busy day.
During the holidays, honoring your need for rest is a way of protecting your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. 🤍
